Dave's father was an airline pilot for Air Canada before he retired and it was from him that Dave's great love of flying came.  His focus on detail most likely came from his father's career as a pilot where details matter - it is a focus he brings to his work.  The family purchased their South Langley farm in 1967 and have actively farmed it since that time.

In 1978 Dave apprenticed with his Uncle Jules La Rose, a commercial builder who progressed to building high end custom homes in the 80's.  Whilst working in the construction industry and learning his craft Dave qualified as a pilot and dabbled in flying for guide outfitters.  Dave is currently building a Murphy Moose which he hopes will take its maiden flight in the summer of 2012.

Summertime means Hay Season to Dave, who takes great joy and pride in producing some of the finest quality horse hay in the area.  Wintertime is a time for repairing farm machinery and working on his Murphy Moose in the aircraft hanger he built for himself on the farm.  He recently purchased a Miranda in Ontario which he will be flying home this winter.

His greatest joy is in taking a property and making it not only function like a well oiled machine, ideally suited to that particular client's needs but in also producing a stunningly beautiful buidling and property that leaves visitors dreaming of their own 'dream barn'.
